Dixie Craggin at the Tennessee Wall

Tennessee has more than its share of excellent rock. It has been said there is more unclimbed rock than climbed rock in the state. I had been wanting to visit this area for some time. I get the urge to travel in the fall when the weather start getting cold. One more dose of good traditional climbing in warm temps before the ice season starts.

Terry and I took a quick Southwest flight to Nashville in the morning and were climbing at the T Wall by early afternoon. We enjoyed five mid week days of great climbing with no crowds.

Cracks of all types were the theme for the week. The rock was solid, protection was excellent, and there were plenty of routes to choose from. We spent our time at the T Wall where there is over 3oo listed routes.
I highly recommend taking a climbing trip to the southeastern areas. Enjoy the photos of Terry having a fun time at the T Wall in Tennessee.
