Huntington’s Ravine Condition Photos Dec 19, 2009

I was up in the ravine this past Saturday. The trail conditions were great, a well snowpack packed trail all the way into the ravine. Just a few weeks ago the trail was in tough shape, but with a few snow events it quickly improved. Climbing conditions had also improved.
All the routes looked to be in good shape and climbing parties were on South, Odell’s, Central, Damnation and Yale. I was climbing Pinnacle and found very good ice with good protection. Below are a few photos on a rare sunny day in Huntington’s Ravine.

Yale and Damnation Gullys the longest climbs in the Ravine.
