Rumney Ice Climbing Conditions Jan 3, 2010

I went to Rumney this afternoon to see how the Geographic Factor was looking. Parties were climbing at the practice wall in the Meadows, on Franky Lee, and Selsun Blue. All routes looked to be in good shape, Franky Lee may be on the lean side. We hiked up to the Geo area breaking trail all the way. Fangmanship looked awesome – I think it would go. The Geo was in real fine shape, good steep climbing with some technical moves out of the cave onto the upper flow. Overall Rumney is in great condition at this time, get it while its good!!!

The Geographic Factor – 100 feet of good climbing.
Fangmanship – just touched down – who gonna get this one?

Steep approach to Geo.
Terry above the crux moves, loving the Petzl Nomics.
