Florida to New Hampshire for Ice

January 30, 2010 § Leave a comment

Wendy and Greg have come to New Hampshire to ice climb since 2005. Each year they are treated to cold New Hampshire weather and the added challenge of ice climbing. This year their arrival coinsided with some very cold canadian air and sub zero wind chills.
We toughed it out and ventured to the ice at Kinsman Notch and at Rumney Rocks. The climbing was challenging to say the least. Hard ice, brittle ice, and cold hands did not keep us away – we kept our focus for two days
