Women’s Winter Overnight

February 26, 2010 § Leave a comment

Last weekend was a beautiful weekend for a Women’s Winter Trip on Mount Washington with Mooney Mountain Guides. Chris and I spent 2 days exploring the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail. Throughout the trip we experienced high winds and very low visibility. During the overnight while we were warm in our tent, Mother Nature delivered us 8-10″ of new snow to work with in the morning. In the morning we traveled up to make an attempt at Mt. Monroe, but again the winds and 10 foot visibility had us looking at the GPS more than the beautiful surroundings, so we opted to descend.
