New Hampshire Ice Conditions – Kinsman Notch

December 15, 2010 § Leave a comment

This weeks rain took its toll on the ice but the current temps are bringing it all back quickly. Aubrey and I went up to Kinsman Notch today and found two good lines to climb. The ramp next to Pot of Gold was forming quickly and had sticky wet ice on it. The center routes were all in early season shape some thicker than others.

Good conditions up the right leaning ramp.
Aubrey getting his first sticks of the season.
The right line had plenty of ice with water running underneath.
With the temps this low these routes should fatten up by the weekend.
